A gap year is a great way to prepare for what comes next. It also will make you better college candidate, a better student, and 85% of students who participate in a gap year are in school the next year. In fact, we encourage you to apply and be accepted before attending your Wildwind program. most schools have a deferment program that has been designed to make a gap year possible.
Are gap years a new thing?
Sort of. Gap years have been around forever in the form of people taking time off between projects. The organized gap year have been slowly gaining in popularity on the united states since the min 1980's. While still relatively small in the United States, gap years are expreamy popular throughout europe and around the world.
